Individual European Championship. Juniors U19. Bushma and Zhukovets - at the tournament

At the individual European Championship, Ukraine will be represented by 2 athletes who will compete in the category of girls under 19.

On April 13-16, the city of Prague (Czech Republic) will host the 30th jubilee European Squash Championship. 110 athletes from 26 countries take part in the tournament.

Opponents will treat Ukrainian squashists with increased attention. Let us recall that in the April rating list of the European Squash Federation, Alina Bushma made a sensation. The sportswoman under the Ukrainian flag took the honorable 1st place in the overall rating. Our leading athletes, champions and prize-winners of international and national championships are in the ranks and are ready to fight for medals and rating points.

Alina Bushma and Yulia Zhukovets will perform among the participants. The girls are serious about winning medals at the European Championship.

In the Czech Republic, the European squash championship in the U19 category has ended: Alina Bushma 6th, Julia Zhukovets -30th.

The last calendar day of the competition was triumphant for England and Poland. The first and prize places were won by representatives of the countries where squash originated and is actively developing.

The girls' victory was won by Karina Tyma, who became the first Polish woman to win gold at the European Championship.

Representatives from Ukraine, the first racket of Europe Alina Bushma took 6th place, having improved her own result last year by 2 positions in the standings.
